My First Portrait
My first portrait: Day 1.
h
i, there. Welcome to my world. It's pretty small, but it's just the right size for me. You must be friends with Mommy and Daddy. That makes you okay by me!

My story begins early in 2002. I spent a lot of my time sleeping and growing. I played with my fingers and toes a lot. And danced.

But then, everything changed. It was time to move out on my own! Isn't there some rule about what can go wrong, will go wrong? I knew it would be a big day when my bathtub sprang a leak. So all the water is draining out, I'm trying to keep it in, and then the whole house starts to moan and groan like it's an earthquake! I was pounding on the door for what seems like days, but nobody answered. Then finally, somebody opened the back door and let me out. If you want all the details, read Mommy's version.

Boy was I suprised. I thought moving day would be fun. But the cold! The lights! The mucus! Let me back in! But they say you can't go back, and I gradually got used to the idea of this new, big world all for me, and I got to see lots of new faces, and I met Mommy and Daddy for the very first time. They're a lot different on the outside!

And you know, I'm glad I didn't go back, 'cause it's been one thrill after another. There's so much to see and do and learn, so many people to meet and experiments to run.

While you're here you can learn about me, my world, and all my accomplishments. If you have more questions about me, write to Mommy at marningman@yahoo.com.
